Eene helle- en hemelvaart is the second collaboration between Day Before Us (Philippe Blache, joined by Mariel de Laforé) and Antikatechon (Davide Del Col), following Complaintes au bord d'un autre monde (2020). Named after a cycle of ten sonnets by Dutch poet Jacques Perk — published weeks before his death at twenty-two in 1881, and never translated — the album traces a journey in two movements: an infernal descent traversed by impossible love and suffering, mirrored by a celestial ascension in which pain is sublimated into poetry.

First pressing limited to 300 copies.
