Structured around three poles — neofolk, pure folk, and ritualistic Dark Ambient — the album explores the spiritual dimension of the project in much greater depth. A new uniform for the battle within. Austerity and beauty within the poetics of inner struggle — a testimony to an ineffable, combative spirituality.

THE EDITIONS

The album is issued in five formats, each with its own scope of rarity:

CD digipack with 12-page colour booklet

First pressing limited to 200 copies.

Cassette on purple shells

One-time pressing, limited to 50 copies. This colour will never be repressed.

Bundle — CD + Cassette

CD digipack paired with the purple shell cassette. Limited to 6 copies.

Ritual Edition — CD Box

50 hand-numbered copies, drawn from the first CD pressing. Never to be reissued. Each box contains: the CD digipack with 12-page booklet, one common badge, one mystery badge (four designs, randomly assigned), two prints drawn from the Destruction's New Battledress photo session, two amethysts in a small black pouch — all sealed in a hand-personalised black box.

Ritual Edition — CD + Cassette Box

10 hand-numbered copies. The most restricted tier, including all the elements of the CD ritual box completed by the purple cassette. Never to be reissued.

Every Ritual box is assembled and finished by hand. Slight variations and minor imperfections are inherent to the process — each copy is, by design, singular.

APPAREL

Two unisex t-shirts are released alongside the album: the Sigil Tee, bearing the SUN VESSEL wordmark and sigil on a two-sided print; and the Sanctuary Tee, with a monochrome image of a sacred interior — a visual companion to the album's contemplative atmosphere.

EÔS — goddess of the dawn in Greek mythology — is a name that fits like a glove for this duo, who reveal themselves through a debut album made up of eight delicate compositions (three with vocals and five acoustic).

Firmly rooted in Dark Folk and a post-Romantic expression, the compositions nevertheless exude fragrances reminiscent of the Neo-folk / Black Metal band Agalloch, while the exalted vocals at times evoke David Tibet.

Bathed in a bittersweet softness, nature is portrayed as a vessel for human melancholy and forgotten truths. The fleeting condition of our existence blends with the autumnal and forested landscape.

These introspective and evocative pieces sketch a poetic ideal in which Beauty, in all its mystery, becomes an ideal to be pursued: EÔS is a kind of soundtrack to the poetry of John Keats.

A self-portrait soaked in vitriol and hefty swigs of bourbon, Myself is ChindiWolf’s debut album. A steppe-wolf’s confession, raw and uncompromising, firmly rooted in the Dark Country and Western Gothic scene.

Each track stands on its own while maintaining a strong stylistic coherence. Myself draws from a wide range of influences, from Jay Munly to Lee Hazlewood (If I Were), with touches of Neo-folk, echoes of Spiritual Front (With the Devil’s Wife), and moments leaning toward Goth Rock, especially on Lost, somewhere between Sisters of Mercy and Ikon.

A disillusioned folk album filled with dark, cynical visions, Myself portrays a misanthropic crooner facing his fate. Songs of chaos, poison, ruins, apocalyptic promises, lust, and loneliness unfold beneath deceptively melodic arrangements. Behind the music lies a collection of bleak and vivid tales, sung by a sinister troubadour.
