Gladivs Records is an independent French label, conceived as a sonic publishing house and operating through curated collections.

Rooted in Extreme Metal (Thrash, Death, Doom…), the label approaches music as a ritual tool, a trial, and a vector of transformation. Gladivs Records champions demanding productions, often released in limited editions, where myths, traditions, folklore, and sonic experimentation intersect.

Our Collections

Katábasis

A collection dedicated to Black Metal, Katábasis plunges the listener into descent: inner abysses, primordial chaos, alchemical nigredo… Music as ordeal, dissolution, and the possibility of rebirth.

In Illo Tempore

An axis focused on Neo-Folk, Dark Folk, Martial Industrial, and Ritual Ambient. This collection explores mythical times, ancient archetypes, and dialogues between tradition and modernity, within meditative and ambivalent soundscapes.

BRÜMES

A liminal space devoted to experimental projects, often rooted in electronic, industrial, or gothic aesthetics. BRÜMES embraces the unforeseen, distortion, dystopian visions, and apocalyptic hymns.

Gladivs Records thus moves between permanence and the renewal of forms, remaining faithful to an aesthetic of initiation and the quest for meaning through sound.
