LARK BLAMES - The Reins Of Life - DIGICD

Lark Blames is the musical project of Marc Blackie (Sleeping Pictures, These Papercuts) and Lloyd James (Naevus), founded in 2005. After the improvised recordings of their debut "Chimney" (Old Europa Cafe, 2006), this second album is a more considered collection: live drums and bass drive the rhythms alongside brass, acoustic guitar and programmed percussion, while aleatory techniques, atmospheric layers, musique concrète and retro synth textures collide.
